Who You Are
5+ years of Motorsports experience with a focus on mechanical vehicle preparation, car development, setup, and event execution; 10 years preferred
Experience working with GT3 race cars – Porsche, Lamborghini, and Ferrari a plus
A leader that possesses outstanding technical knowledge, racing experience and excellent people skills
Ability to clearly communicate with mechanics, engineers, management, and other supporting departments on car builds
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, a high sense of urgency and ability to follow and execute on policies and procedures
Enjoys working in a team environment with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving goals
High school diploma or equivalent
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Able to perform all physical requirements of position
Ability to provide own tools as necessary
Endurance racing experience; preferred
What You'll Do
Work closely with car chief in the shop and while out on the road at race events
Identify opportunities for improvement to increase car performance, reliability, and crew efficiency
Create a plan of action and execute on improvements
Provide high level of vehicle service and preparation leading up to and post events
Clear understanding of technical specifications, event procedures and pit lane rules, familiarity of the rule book
Perform routine maintenance functions and adjustments on a variety of race, performance, and street vehicles
Meet deadlines for race car preparation, while producing quality product
Manage and produce worklist and car preparation information between events
Assist with set up and tear down at race events
Professionally represent the team and sponsors on and off track
Provide a superior client experience to partners and guests by answering questions during shop, garage, and pit tours
Follow Company policies & procedures in making all necessary repairs
Provide support for other team members as needed
All other duties as assigned
Maintain a clean, safe working environment
Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends
May be required to work long hours
Travel required for race events, approximately 40%
