Adecco US, Inc. Production Equipment Technician in Flagstaff, Arizona

Job Purpose: Set up and maintain equipment within designated production cells to meet specifications, ensuring that all equipment operates according to established guidelines and customer requirements. Responsibilities include monitoring part quality, optimizing equipment performance, training operators, minimizing scrap through reprocessing, performing TPLI maintenance, programming equipment, and participating in continuous improvement projects. Proficiency in Welding, CNC machining, Saws, Presses, Robotics, Lasers, and Bending is required.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma and 3-5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following: Welding, CNC machining, Saws, Presses, Robotics, Lasers, and Bending and fabricating metal.

  • Skills & Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills, math skills, ability to read and interpret blueprints, experience with inspection equipment, good mechanical aptitude, and effective communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Set up production jobs, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available and operational for initial runs.

  2. Follow setup standards and procedures to meet quality buyout criteria.

  3. Perform adjustments to maintain quality standards and meet customer specifications.

  4. Analyze production data, make necessary corrections, and identify trends to enhance processes.

  5. Monitor and improve production processes within the cell to optimize equipment efficiency.

  6. Be prepared to work overtime as needed to support production operations.

  7. Conduct required checks and inspections to ensure equipment and process integrity.

  8. Operate medium-duty mechanical equipment, including saws, grinders, sanders, and hand tools.

  9. Use measurement tools such as micrometers, height gauges, calipers, hardness testers, LMI, Instron, Hexagon, etc., for precise evaluations.

  10. Complete engineering tasks as assigned.

  11. Communicate effectively with technicians, operators, supervisors, and management regarding safety, quality, and efficiency issues.

  12. Perform additional duties as required.

Training Requirements:

  • Mandatory Training: New Hire Orientation, Hi-Lo Operator Licensing, Safety & PPE, Operator Instructions, Inspection Instructions.

  • Additional Training: Welding, CNC, Robotics, Laser, Lathes, Presses, Benders, and/or Saws.

Level of Authority: No supervisory authority

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 7 hours).

  • Frequent handling, controlling, or feeling objects, tools, or controls with hands.

  • Lifting up to 10 lbs. frequently, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

  • Exposure to distracting or uncomfortable noise levels.

  • Use of common protective or safety equipment is required.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $27.00 per hour
