Position: Speech Language Pathologist

Status: Part-Time (20-24 hours weekly)

Schedule: Monday-Friday , no weekends

Kessler Rehabilitation Center is the outpatient network of Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, one of the nation's leading rehabilitation hospitals. Founded in 1948, Kessler has continued to expand its programs and services to meet the growing demand for quality outpatient physical and occupational therapies. Today, Kessler has more than 90 centers in 13 counties across New Jersey, and treats more than 38,000 patients each year.

Our centers host a wide range of free educational events, screenings and seminars and offer programming to local schools and colleges, libraries, community organizations, youth centers, sports and recreation leagues, and other groups.

Responsibilities

Kessler Rehabilitation's Flanders Center is a multidiscipline outpatient rehabilitation facility located in beautiful Morris County. The facility is conveniently located on Route 206 in a very large Suite. Currently, the Center employs 7 physical therapists, 3 occupational therapists, 1 speech language pathologist, 3 office administrators, and 1 rehabilitation technician. All of the staff work collectively as a team to provide the utmost quality care to its patients. Treatment populations include general orthopedics, post-surgical, hand therapy, neuro, cancer, sports and vestibular rehabilitation. We also proudly operate our Kessler Kids Pediatric therapy program out of this location. Clinicians at this facility have numerous certifications and specialties including, but not limited to, Orthopedic Therapy, ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation, Vestibular Rehab, Workers Comp, Splints, and Neuro Rehab.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology

• Current and valid NJ state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association
