Apply now for the position of Staff Electrical Engineer, and you will join a diverse engineering team and develop cutting-edge electrical-optical technologies for In-Vitro blood analyzers and lab automation systems. Your role: * You will design, develop, and test analog and mixed signal circuits for various applications. Experience in the electrical and mechanical design of optical detection systems would be an advantage. * You will perform detailed circuit analysis, simulation, reliability prediction calculations, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability. * You will create detailed design documentation (schematics, test procedures, bill of materials, etc.), specifications, and reports. * You will build and integrate electronics with optical, mechanical, and embedded software components, as part of a multi-disciplinary team. * You will characterize and test designs using bench-top laboratory equipment and develop test scripts using programming languages. * You will conduct complex design verification tests and be responsible for root causes analysis and documentation of design failure and technical issues. * You will collaborate with cross-functional project teams and various engineering disciplines (mechanical, detector subsystem, embedded software, application software, system engineering) to ensure seamless integration of systems. * You must stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices into designs. * You will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. * You will support manufacturing and field service teams with technical expertise during production and post-production phases. Your expertise: * Strong proficiency in designing, simulating, and testing analog circuits. * Extensive experience with control systems, including filter design, PID control, feedback loops and stability analysis. Optical detection system design and statistical analysis experience is a plus. * Demonstrated ability to investigate, design and develop varying sensing electronics. * Solid understanding of EMI/EMC considerations and mitigation techniques. * Proficient in using ECAD and EDA tools such as Mentor Graphics Xpedition, SPICE, or similar. * Ability to engage in hands-on work in the lab, building and testing your own designs using oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers. Experience with optical test equipment such as autocollimators and spectrophotometers is a plus. * Knowledge of embedded systems and embedded software (firmware) development is a plus. Your skills: * Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent field with minimum 7 years of demonstrated practical success in electronics design or MSEE or PhD with 5+ years of experience. * Broad knowledge in electrical engineering, physics, and mathematics. * High-paced individual who is eager and passionate about developing and delivering solutions. * Self-starter with strong analytical skills, capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining strong interpersonal and communication skills in close collaboration with key stakeholders. * Experience in mentoring and leading a small engineering team to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines is a plus.
