The University of Michigan-Flint seeks highly qualified applicants for a tenure-track position in Finance, beginning Fall 2025, with a particular focus on FinTech, Data Analytics, and Financial Modeling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to teach a broad range of finance courses, including but not limited to FinTech, Big Data applications in finance, quantitative finance, financial wealth planning, data analytics, and financial modeling. Teach courses at postsecondary level and conduct research in Finance.  Advise students.  Perform service to the university.  Candidates with experience and interest in teaching flexible online and in-person hybrid courses are strongly preferred. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess a relevant earned doctorate from an AACSB or similarly accredited institution by the start date (ABDs who indicate a high potential for completion prior to start date will be considered), with evidence of teaching responsibilities at both the undergraduate (required) and graduate (desired) levels.  Teaching experience (may be gained as part of PhD).  Applicants for Associate Professor position must have publication or presentation record.  Evidence of potential significant scholarship in refereed journals is expected for those seeking appointment to Assistant Professor.
