Young's Environmental is seeking highly-motivated CDL A Drivers + Operators WITH tanker + hazmat endorsements to join our team in Flint, Michigan!

This position would include the safe operation of semis and lowboys, vacuum tanker trucks, jumbo bulk haulers, roll-off trucks, hydro-excavation units, and other waste-hauling vehicles on various environmental and energy-related projects. Daily jobs could include standby services for pipelines, daily waste runs, on-site vac truck services, line jetting and cleaning, bulk waste transportation, or emergency response projects.

Here's an idea of what you can expect to do -

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, procedures, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times

Driving and operating various waste transportation and vacuum tanker units/trailers.

Check all waste-related paperwork prior to transport to ensure completeness and accuracy of the manifests, bill of lading, land disposal restriction forms, proper placarding, etc.

Work in potentially elevated noise levels where you must be able to hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty

Be able to safely complete tasks associated with a labor-intensive position including working outside in all types of weather conditions and standing, kneeling or bending for long periods of time

Lifting, carrying, and pulling of hoses of up to 100 pounds, climbing on the unit, and minor maintenance

Performing pre- and post-trip inspections

Follow directions given both orally and in writing
