Salary Range:$18.3936 To 24.1804 Hourly

 Temporary Assignment Duration: Approximately six (6) months.

*General Statement: * Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, performs difficult and responsible clerical tasks in keeping financial accounts and records for assigned area of responsibility; work involves performance of account-keeping, auditing or related bookkeeping tasks; the position requires thorough familiarity with departmental operations; assignments may vary in nature and employees are expected to exercise a degree of judgment; performs related work as required.

Minimum Requirements: * Associates degree in business, general office, or related field of study, to include some accounting course work, the ability to type 45 wpm with no more than five (5) errors in a 5-minute timing *AND one (1) year experience directly related to departmental assignment (i.e. payables, payroll, receivables, ability to pay).

OR

Two (2) years of college with a minimum of twenty (20) hours in accounting, the ability to type 45 wpm with no more than five (5) errors in a 5-minute timing AND one (1) year experience directly related to departmental assignment (i.e. payables, payroll, receivables, ability to pay).

OR

High school graduation or equivalent, the ability to type 45 wpm with no more than five (5) errors in a 5-minute timing *AND *three (3) years experience as an account clerk, one (1) year of which must be experience directly related to departmental assignment (i.e. payables, payroll, receivables, ability to pay);
