Description
Robert Half is revolving the doors of opportunity for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper. This exciting Full-Time Engagement Professional position offers a challenging and dynamic work environment for a bookkeeper looking to sharpen their skills and gain more exposure to a wide array of accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Verify transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
Bring the books to the trial balance stage
Perform partial checks of the posting process
Conduct reconciliation of bank statements and ledger accounts
Assist in preparation and review of financial statements
Work with the consulting team to improve financial processes
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Proven bookkeeping experience
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel, and accounting software
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
