DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Health, Safety and Environment Supervisor to join our team specializing in Health and Safety in Florence, KY.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Foster a Positive Culture : Build strong relationships across functions to ensure everyone understands their roles and responsibilities, driving a positive health, safety, and environmental culture.
Employee Engagement : Ensure employees are consulted and given opportunities to contribute to the development and implementation of programs, policies, and procedures.
Risk Management : Lead hazard identification, environmental aspect identification, and risk assessment programs to identify strategic risk improvement opportunities and compliance gaps.
Goal Setting and Achievement : Manage planning actions to set targets and objectives for the site, supervising actions through to completion.
Training and Development : Lead an effective support model through training, skills development, and internal communications, ensuring continuous improvement.
Regulatory Compliance : Interface with external regulatory bodies as required, with the support of the legal department, to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Operational Leadership : Lead daily health, safety, and environmental operations, providing support to solve issues related to compliance, risk reduction, incident investigation, and more.
Continuous Improvement : Drive improvements to health, safety, and environmental performance metrics using a risk-based and data-driven approach, ensuring ongoing enhancement of site performance.

Performance Measurement and Evaluation : Collect and analyze data to create key performance indicators, evaluate trends, set improvement goals, and protect employees and the environment.
Risk Assessment : Identify and prioritize risks using hazard identification and risk assessment techniques, and implement control measures to reduce risks.
Injury and Illness Management : Document and manage work-related injuries or illnesses in compliance with regulations, and support affected employees through clinical treatment and case management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree required. Health, Safety and/or Environmental degree preferred.
Professional certification in HSE-related field preferred.
Experience:
Intermediate level of experience required, including experience in management of health, safety and environmental ISO Standards required.
Minimal management experience preferred.
Additional Responsibilities:
Responsible for coaching and developing the safety coordinators
Assists the site leader with building a culture focused on health, safety, and environment
