Used Item Evaluations Supervisor

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Supervisor to join our Used Items Department. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring team productivity, and fostering a positive work environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Used Items team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate and timely processing of used items.

  • Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure all used items meet company guidelines.

  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.

  • Train new employees on department procedures.

  • Address employee concerns and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.

  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and improve overall efficiency.

  • Prepare and maintain reports on department performance, inventory, and employee productivity.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a retail or warehouse environment.

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
