Job title : Office Assistant

Job Summary The candidate will act as an Office Assistant, responsible for managing general office tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments or meetings, ordering necessary parts for office maintenance or operations, and handling accounts payable to ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately. Direct contact with clients and customers.

Skill Requirements Must-Have:

  • General office assistant experience with a variety of administrative tasks Must have good computer skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to answer phones professionally and manage multiple lines if necessary

  • Proficiency in scheduling appointments and managing calendars

  • Experience with ordering parts or supplies for an office setting

  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes to manage and record all financial transactions

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with using office equipment like fax machines and copiers

  • Basic understanding of accounting software

  • General Office Assistant : A general office assistant performs a range of administrative tasks from filing and data entry to more complex activities like coordinating travel arrangements.

  • Answer Phones : This skill involves taking calls in a professional manner while managing multiple lines and providing information or routing calls as needed.

  • Schedule : Scheduling requires organizing appointments or meetings by coordinating times between different parties and often maintaining electronic calendars.

  • Order Parts : Ordering parts involves identifying the need for supplies or equipment within an office setting and placing orders to ensure timely availability.

  • Accounts Payable : Knowledge of accounts payable includes managing outgoing bills and payments on behalf of a company including invoicing and transaction processing.

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
