The ideal General Cleaner will be able to successfully perform the following responsibilities:Wipe down countertops, desks, and other surfacesBathroom fixtures, including toilets and urinalsSpot clean cabinets, drawers, and glass surfacesSteel-shine appliances and fixturesSweep, vacuum, and mop floorsCommunicate professionally with clients and Safety SupervisorsComply with safety policies and proceduresExpectations of sorting and recycling garbageMaintenance and Grounds keeping related tasksAbility to speak and write EnglishAble to set up rooms for events (ping pong tables and other activities)1-3 years of experience in maintenance, housekeeping or custodial servicesPhysical Requirements: walking and standing during the entire shift (often 4-8 hours), climbing stairs, kneeling to clean floors, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movement.
