Position Summary

A career in Project Management within the Office of Operational Excellence will provide the opportunity to operate at both a strategic and tactical level by evaluating and prioritizing large projects and programs across the enterprise, considering strategic value, economic impact and resource needs as well as creating project plans, managing project priorities, allocating resources, and driving accountability for tasks and milestones.

Essential Functions:

  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities: Create and implement OCM strategy and plans (sponsor, people manager, communications, training, and transition and sustainment).

  • Design and implement playbooks and tools based on industry standard methodologies, providing a scalable and repeatable process for enterprise level projects.

  • Develop and maintain enterprise-level tools and guidance, provide updates to enterprise-level artifacts to reflect lessons learned and ensure a consistent approach across the enterprise.

  • Establish key change milestones and delivery timeline, and partner with program and project managers to ensure dependencies are in align with milestones across the program or project. Ensure the change task or workstream remains on track by conducting routine assessments to validate progress and outcomes.

  • Accountable for the execution of change management workstreams and tasks in a matrix environment.

  • Coordinate and influence a diverse team of employees and vendors, delegating work, ensuring quality standards, and balancing workloads.

  • Accountable for development and maintenance of a comprehensive training plan and coordinated delivery for internal and external audiences. Review training requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.

  • Accountable for coordinated communications and engagement plan for internal and external audiences.

  • Provide direction and support to the program or project team to ensure that multiple methods and channels are leveraged to reach targeted stakeholder audiences.

  • Partner with corporate and internal communications teams. As well as manage resolution of potential organizational obstacles, guides others in mitigation planning.

  • Coach and advise senior leaders, people managers, and project leaders to ensure their roles are understood and performed in support of the enterprise change management process. In addition to Resistance Management Plan (impacted stakeholder management).

Required Skills:

  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.

  • Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.

  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.

  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.

  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere.

  • Forward looking with a holistic approach

  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.

  • Problem solving and root-cause identification skills.

  • Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization.

  • Must be a team player and ability to make decisions at the project team level and properly escalate those decisions that cannot be resolved on a timely basis.

Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant Certifications such as; PROSCI, CCMP, PMP, ACMP a plus

Qualifications

Required Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or;

  • Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience.

  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Compensation Range:

$109,500 - 175,200

We are committed to pay transparency and ensuring equitability compensation for all employees. The pay range for this position reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits, bonuses, or other forms of compensation that might be part of the total compensation package. The specific salary offered will be based on a candidate’s qualifications, education, and experience.
