Description

Robert Half is working with a company in the construction industry in the Fond du lac area to fill an accounting manager position. The accounting manager will have oversight of accounting processes and ensure the accuracy of the financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting preferably with experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities for the position include the following:

• Oversight of accounting including job costing

• Maintaining accounting policies and procedures

• Prepare financial reports including month end close

• Collaborate with management to track project costs, revenue and profitability

• Manage relationships with financial institutions

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting

• CPA or CMA designation preferred

• Construction industry experience preferred

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
