JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable and Human Resources Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing account payable job duties, supporting human resources, and providing bank-wide administrative support. Accounts Payable related job duties: Has responsibility for accounts payable; pays the Bank\'s bills accurately and on a timely basis; follows procedures to authenticate invoices and ensures that no duplicate or fraudulent invoices are paid. Conducts cash counts; assists in correcting any discrepancies and documents the cash count activity. Performs wire transfer function in accord with prescribed procedures. Manages and files notary applications and renewals. Cross trains in performing functions of other accounting staff to act as back-up of staff person\'s primary responsibilities on occasion. Human Resources related job duties: Complete biweekly payroll Recruitment activities New hire orientation Benefits administration Personnel files Bank-wide Administrative Support job duties: Prepares a variety of correspondence and documents with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality Prepares for Board meetings; collects policy revisions and agenda items; prepares meeting minutes; maintains corporate minute book in confidence Maintains copies of Board agendas and minutes for reference by auditors, examiners, and senior officers Ensures all policies are updated in a timely manner. Prepares appropriate documents for annual meeting Generates departmental reports, as needed. Administrative duties, such as, mail and back-up receptionist. Provides assistance to others as the need arises and as directed by the Controller and Human Resources Director. Completes all required compliance training. Performs job duties in accord with relevant training Conducts oneself in accord with the Bank\'s core values Other duties as assigned ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: An Associate degree in accounting, human resources or administrative assistant program, or equivalent work experience 3 to 5 years of related work experience, preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent customer relations demeanor; professional in appearance and communication Ability to work independently Maintain a high level of confidentiality The ability to accurately produce professional looking documents Excellent proofreading skills The ability to prioritize the workload with good time management and organizational skills Ability to be trained and become proficient on a variety of software programs Excellent interpersonal skills Physical Demands The ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to view computer screen and paperwork Frequent use of computer and other office equipment Occasional local travel including driving of personal vehicle FVSBank is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
