Job Title: Electrical Project ManagerJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the pre-construction process and manage the project’s lifecycle from kickoff to completion. You will work closely with project teams to plan, schedule, and engineer work to create the highest value while ensuring profitability and adherence to safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the pre-construction process.

• Conduct project kickoff meetings with involved teams.

• Work with project teams to lay out, plan, schedule, and engineer work.

• Ensure thorough knowledge of all information to effectively manage the job.

• Understand and manage the project's contractual requirements.

• Maintain or exceed the profit margin for each job.

• Monitor project productivity and profitability.

• Negotiate material/equipment purchases and other cost quotations.

• Manage the project’s labor force and personnel.

• Attend scheduled meetings related to the project as needed.

• Oversee payment procedures and submit required paperwork on time (i.e., invoicing, RFIs, change orders, close-out documentation, etc.).

• Complete monthly billings in a timely manner and ensure collections are received on time by customers.

• Implement all applicable safety programs and policies and ensure these are followed and practiced by team members.

Essential Skills

• Experience with Accubid and Procore software

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering, or 3+ years of related electrical project management experience

• Experience with National Electrical Code, industry procedures, and standards

Work Environment

This position is Monday through Friday with travel to project sites as needed. Most travel is within an hour radius of the office. The work environment balances the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in a large company with the feel of a small, family-oriented business.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00
