Job Summary:

The Internal Controls Department is seeking a dynamic, current college student to fulfill our summer internship program in 2025. Interns in our area, have completed individual audit projects including financial, operations and compliance audits. This responsibility includes performing internal audit procedures, presenting audit results, and assisting with the preparation of audit reports reflecting the work performed. Interns in this role can expect to further their learning in the fundamentals of auditing, including risk assessment, audit planning, and testing procedures in addition to collaboration, customer focus, independent and team-centered work, professionalism, attention to detail, time management and much more.

What you need to be considered for the role:

  • Student in Junior or Senior level working towards a Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting from an accredited school.

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Standards, financial analysis concepts, budgeting, and financial reporting.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of Associates.

  • The ability to:

  • Prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously with efficiency.

  • Solve problems, collect data, establish facts, use sound judgment and draw valid conclusions to make effective decisions.

  • Identify internal control issues and/or continuous improvement ideas as well as assist with the process of developing solutions.

  • Valid driver’s license to travel to various plant locations in Wisconsin.

  • Participative involvement in campus organizations, non-class related volunteer involvement, off-campus employment and demonstrated leadership preferred.
