Maintenance Mechanic

30-36/hr Depending On Experience

Description:

We are looking to hire a maintenance technician who will be responsible for the support of production on the 2nd shift. They will be maintaining all machinery, equipment, buildings, and grounds and ensuring that all equipment is kept to OSHA standards.

Duties include the installation and maintenance of equipment such as presses, CNCs, conveyors, hydraulics systems, pneumatic systems, air compressors, welders, Ajax induction heat systems, ABB robotic systems, water treatment equipment and controls, and plumbing and piping. Candidates will also maintain inventory and parts, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical components and control circuits. PLC experience (Allen-Bradley) is a plus. This position requires reading, writing, and math skills similar to those learned in High School. Knowledge and experience in rigging heavy equipment are beneficial.

• Hours are Mon-Fri. 2pm-11:30pm, OT is available, but not a ton.

Must-Have Skills:

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience

• Excellent verbal and written skills

• Basic understanding of electrical components

• Ability to work in a more independent and autonomous environment.
