Custom Mold & Design, a Velosity Company is hiring an experienced Toolmaker on 1st shift to support our manufacturing facility in Forest Lake, MN. The Tool Maker is responsible for building, repairing, and altering molds and fixtures of extremely complex and precise nature. The typical pay range for this role: $27.00-$40.50/hour This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, internal equity and other relevant factors. This position will report to the Production Manager, and has no direct reports. Schedule: Shift start between 4:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. (flexible) Get out early on Fridays! Who is Velosity? Troubleshoot problems with a mold and arrive with an action plan to correct the problem in a reasonable amount of time. Schedule and manage work in other departments as required. Operate all necessary equipment in a safe manner with little or no supervision. Wear safety equipment that is relevant to the position, job being performed or equipment being used. Work cooperatively with all employees. Take responsibility to see jobs are completed when due. Other tasks as assigned by supervisor. Work Conditions & Physical Demands: This is a non-smoking, professional tool shop with normal lighting, climate control. The shop environment may be subject to airborne contaminants and chemical odors as would be customary in a tool making and/or molding shop.
