This is a job for a Parts Room Attendant 4 - 2nd Shift - Forest, MS position with a company located in the Forest, MS area.
Summary: This position is response for inventory control in the maintenance shop, as well as receiving and storing parts, maintenance supplies, and miscellaneous receivers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Other duties include maintain inventories in the system; complete part requisitions and purchase orders; assigning vendor Tyson numbers and ensuring parts are in proper bins with proper minimum maximum levels; expedite parts and purchase orders; manage the storeroom in the absence of the Supervisor; other duties tasks assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Education: GED or High School diploma preferred. Experience: Prefer experience in maintenance or parts room. Inventory control experience preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills: proficiency in Microsoft office SAP required. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively to employees, management, and suppliers. Special Skills: Ability to read and write; possess basic math skills; ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift objects weighing 50 pounds occasional. Highly recommended to include a resume in a PDF or Word Document format.
