Summary:

Tetra Tech is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Administrator to review and process domestic and international invoices for several areas of the organization. This position is open to Tetra Tech's Fort Collins, CO office or Helena, MT office.

Your Role:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: other duties may be assigned: Review vendor invoices for appropriate documentation. Coordinate payments to internal and external clients with corporate team support. Audit employee expense reports for completeness and compliance with Travel/Expense policy. Prepare vouchers with correct purchase order, charge code and descriptions. Allocate charges to correct work order/charge code. Review reports to ensure that internal and external accounts payable is processing through approval workflows as required. Review and follow up on outstanding approvals for accounting month end. Work with procurement staff to report unprocessed AP items for monthly accrual process.

Qualifications: At least one (1) year of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education. An Associates of Science in accounting or finance is preferred, but not required. Knowledge of Oracle based accounting systems a plus but not required. Understanding or general knowledge of international taxation including withholding taxes, valued added tax (VAT), and goods services tax (GST) a plus but not required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as financial statements, invoices, and payment records. Ability to search for pertinent facts and data, analyze and evaluate information, and form accurate conclusions. Ability to speak English effectively with other employees and clients. Ability to express conclusions and results in clear written and oral reports. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment. Ability to effectively respond to and interact with multiple levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations is essential. The employee must regularly operate a computer and other office equipment (copier, fax, etc.). The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The employee must be able to travel to meetings via air or land transportation and travel may require the use of company or personal vehicles A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required. Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

Target salary range: $22.00 / hour to $26.00 / hour. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
