We maintain and exceed OSHA guidelines for our workers and ensure that Tolmar conducts business in an environmentally responsible manner to protect our world's resources. Proposed Work Description The nature of business is that priorities can shift according to the needs of the company/department. Therefore, described below is a sampling of the kinds of work we expect this position to entail: Assist with developing safety procedures including lockout/tagout, confined space, and personal protective equipment assessments. Provide support to the EHS Department including investigations with reported safety incidents. Document, track, and report any and all uncontrolled hazards, injuries, and near misses. Assist with special projects, as needed and perform other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Access. Ability to prioritize among multiple challenges. Strong communication skills including presentation, training, technical writing, verbal, reports and routine business correspondence. Basic knowledge of fundamentals of fire protection, OSHA regulations, industrial hygiene, machine and chemical process safety requirements, contractor, site expansion and construction safety requirements. Education & Experience Pursuing a degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Biomedical Sciences with Environmental Public Health concentration or related field. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in manufacturing/CGMP environment desirable. Working Conditions Working conditions include office environment, CGMP manufacturing/ warehouse and laboratory environments. Comfortable working on ladders, lifts and at heights as needed. Must provide own transportation to report to locations in Fort Collins and Windsor. Compensation and Benefits Base rate is $19.00 per hour Benefits include medical insurance and 401k participation Tolmar compensation programs are focused on equitable, fair pay practices including market-based base pay and a strong benefits package.
