Overview

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for supporting the production team in maintaining high product quality standards. This role involves inspecting products, conducting tests, and identifying defects or issues for prefabricated electrical/metal assemblies, skid packages, modular assemblies, control panels, motor control panels, or similar assemblies. Ensure testing and inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained. Review and revise testing procedures and production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory compliance. Conduct manual and automated quality checks, inspections, and tests on products during various stages of the production process. Identify defects and deviations from standards, document them, and work with relevant teams to resolve issues. Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken. Ensuring employees adhere to safety and quality standards. Communicate safety and quality infringements to the Quality Assurance Manager and work together for resolution. Assist the Quality assurance Manager with recommended quality improvements. Adherence to ISO Standards, ISO audit preparedness, and ISO document control Identify and make quality improvements. Quality through continuous improvement. Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: An associate degree or experience in a related field, such as industrial technology, manufacturing, or electrical is helpful but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderat TRAVEL RE UIREMENTS: Travel will be limited and expect less than 5% as most activity will be in the production shop. Occasional travel for continuous improvement/educational activities is expected. This may include travel to job sites to view or assist with installation activities. Panel Techs will be expected to participate in controls changeover activities at job sites.
