What do our Pest Control Consultants Sales Trainee do?

The primary purpose of this role is completing the formal training, including all licensing and certification requirements to effectively sell the company's Residential Pest Management Services and Products to new and existing residential customers, while maintaining a customer-focused service to grow the business. This includes the ability to assess customers' needs by performing an inspection based on customer concerns using expert knowledge of the company's products and services that result in the sales of the organization's pest control solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Successfully complete all required training

Sales CRM Technology training

Sales technical acumen

Sales Methodology and tactics

Attend Virtual lead sessions during training

Attend Live classroom training

Selling & Partnership

Understands how to meet or exceed outlined success measures for lead generation, inspections, selling targets and close rates

Gaining knowledge in the area of assessing customers' needs by performing a needs analysis based on customer concerns using expert knowledge of the company's products and services and certifications.

Learn the 20 point inspection process to visually inspect homes and businesses for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, etc

Learn how based on assessment findings, sell pest control solutions for residential customers.

Develop collaborative skills to interact with our customer service center, Inside Sales department, and technicians for increased opportunities

Build strong communication skills to effectively partner with Area Manager & Branch Manager to identify revenue streams with our current base and service specialist engagement

Understand how to develop proposals for customers to resolve existing pest issues while also proposing additional enhancements to pest household services.

Effectively complete home diagram using Sales CRM and provided tools to ensure clear understanding of customer home and possible challenges.

Develop and learn effective follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities

Understand effectively how we perform different LOBs to ensure how to effectively provide details to customer

Working understanding of completing daily activities and sales performance using the company sales CRM

Self Improvement - constantly works on self-improvement and learning by analyzing personal performance, acting on feedback from performance evaluations and staying current on sales and industry techniques

What do you need?

High school diploma or equivalent, associate's or technical degree preferred

Preparation for state certification or licensing required, requirements may vary by state and locality, in lieu of existing certifications must be willing to complete required certifications within 60 days

Must have at least one(1) year of sales or pest technician experience

Must be an effective verbal communicator, with particular emphasis on customer facing conversations and presentation with additional follow-ups

Must have a driving record with no motor vehicle violations within the last year

Must successfully meet pre-employment background screen

Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence and pass motor v hicle record search.

This position offers a base pay plus commission.
