The Opportunity:

The CAGS program is responsible for performing analysis of the full spectrum GEOINT assets by maintaining expertise in all associated tradecraft; including Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR), Electro-Optical (EO), Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), Overhead Persistent Infra- red (OPIR), Geospatial Information and Services (GI&S), Wide Area Persistent Surveillance (WAPS), geospatial data processing, analysis and modeling, and general intelligence analysis. You will develop, assess, review, analyze, and make recommendations concerning GEOINT capabilities, system requirements, development, personnel, communications, logistics, and other functions deemed necessary by the TTM; ensure Government GEOINT community is kept abreast of emerging technological developments that enhance the Army’s ability to leverage GEOINT. Familiarity and expertise with all national, theater, and commercial GEOINT collection assets to include Aerial Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (A-ISR) platforms is required to provide input on GEOINT collection strategies for supported commands/agencies as required, including the effective use and integration of GEOINT in multi-INT collection plans.

Responsibilities:

As a IMINT Analyst Expert you will be an established and productive professional individual contributor with the ability to work independently with general supervision. Your excellent written & oral communication, research, and analytic skills with assist with your ability to manage personnel, requirements, and coordination of projects. As an IMINT Analyst Expert, you will provide capabilities to research, create, develop, and deliver professional briefings, multimedia presentations, and written reports. In addition, provide extensive experience supporting decision making and special projects on integration issues, including the preparation, production, and coordination of written products and briefings for senior stakeholders. Knowledge of Army structure and defense level intelligence operations: intelligence collection, fusion, analysis, production, and dissemination for intelligence databases and products is necessary to make assessments, enterprise data integration, governance, and metrics, including the application of metadata management techniques and data modeling and design. You will work with tradecraft and publications to coordinate and support cross-community meetings and working groups, assimilate large volumes of information, and independently produce written reports. Regular communication with contacts, typically within the department, on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring some explanation or interpretation in order to reach agreement. May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees in additional to working with Government Technical Leads and Program Managers on support related taskings.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Current/active TS/SCI clearance w/ SSBI

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 15 years of GEOINT experience, Master’s degree plus 10 years GEOINT experience, or Doctoral Degree pus 5 years GEOINT experience.

  • College degree must be in a relevant field such as remote sensing, Geospatial sciences, Relevant STEM field, or political science.

  • Relevant specialized experience must be in the application of space-based GEOINT.

  • Expert knowledge of the full spectrum of US GOV and commercial satellite capabilities, including tasking and collection processes and protocols

  • Expert knowledge of GEOINT software including RemoteView, SOCET GXP, or ArcGIS

  • Experience with photogrammetric principles and techniques

  • Experience with conducting Foundational Military Intelligence analysis and baseline reporting

  • Ability to collaborate with GEOINT analysts to deconstruct problems and develop effective analysis and collection approaches

  • Ability to collaborate with partners across the IC and DoD on technical or substantive topics.

  • Knowledge of relevant GEOINT-related Army, National System for GEOINT (NSG), or Intelligence Community (IC) policies

  • Expert ability to present intelligence information via multimedia presentations and written reports.

  • Experience with object-based production (OBP), structured observation management (SOM), and activity-based intelligence (ABI).

  • Experience with analytic modeling

Desired:

  • GPC-II Imagery Certification

  • Experience with commercial visualization software

  • Experience with non-traditional GEOINT data sources

  • Experience with MS Office suite of tools.

  • Experience with data analytics and COTS statistical software (SPSS, SAS, MatLab etc.)

  • Experience presenting at community forums and symposiums

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$59,100 - $124,100
