Summary About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence - Future Forces Integration Directorate at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia. Responsibilities Conducts fielded force integration activities to review and provide feedback to Cyber-Electromagnetic Activity (CEMA) requirements and concepts. Collaborates with Chief of Cyber and EW representatives to identify any DOTMLPF-P issues that impact manning, training, and equipping of current and emerging forces. Analyzes concepts of employment for Cyber/EW force structure and equipment requirements in proponent/non-proponent organizations to ensure they conform with current Army guidance and policies, and do not exceed rules of allocations. Interprets regulations, policies, and directives governing capability/force development activities, which are necessary to plan, analyze, provide advice, and implement Cyber/EW modernization efforts. Reviews and develops organizational documents for Cyber or EW units Develops and recommends force design and manpower alternatives to eliminate duplication. Represents the CCoE in Total Army Analysis (TAA) forums affecting Cyber and EW force structure. Makes recommendations and participates in the development of alternative means of resourcing Cyber/EW force structure with the goal of maximizing available resources or the successful acquisition of additional resources. Maintains contacts to justify, defend, negotiate, or settle matters involving significant and controversial Cyber/EW DOTMLPF-P issues. Provides periodic updates on current projects in the form of information papers, briefings, and/or oral presentations to Senior Cyber/EW Leaders. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe two years of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1) Executing Cyber and Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) missions and assessments to identify manning, training, equipping requirements. 2) Participating in Cyber and Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) demonstrations, experimentation, prototyping, or assessments to document observations, insights, or lessons learned related to modernization efforts 3)Interpreting capability development and force management actions IAW Cyber and Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) concepts to ensure organizational compliance to leadership guidance and policies 4) Conducting force integration activities resulting in delivery of capabilities across multiple organizations and 5) Collaborating across organizations to meet Cyber and EW requirements. Education Additional Information If you are a current federal career/career-conditional employee, you will be placed on an excepted appointment.
