Summary About the Position: Serve as a Team Lead IT Specialist (Network) for Communications Electronics Command Info Systems Engineering Command, Transmission Systems Dir at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Telework Eligible as determined by the Agency's Policy. Responsibilities Serve as Team Leader responsible for project implementation and execution of large and complex Satellite Communications network systems from inception through completion. Provide technical guidance in all phases of the Satellite Communication systems engineering model, from concept exploration through implementation to include the development of detailed site by site engineering. Prepare final technical reports and briefings encompassing pertinent analysis, conclusions, and recommendations for worldwide Army Satellite Communication systems. Incorporate project execution and planning, considerations such as site preparation, facility validation, installation requirements, required test equipment and quality assurance. Maintain liaison with other federal agencies, academia, and industry to keep abreast of latest technology, available equipment, and systems to meet Army requirements. Leading team efforts in the integration and implementation of major network systems for large organizations such as Department of Defense (DOD). AND 3) Resolving complex problems associated with development and implementation of satellite and telecommunication systems.
