MUST:
Secret clearance required
CompTIA Security+ Certification required
RHCSA (7.X) Certification required
5+ years of IT experience as a RHEL SA
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Thorough understanding of IT operating systems/environments
Thorough understanding of system administration principles
Experience with Red Hat Satellite and Ansible
Experience with VMware and Middleware
Bachelors preferred

DUTIES:
Seeking a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) System Administrator (SA) that reports to our Operations Manager. The RHEL SA will support and troubleshoot RHEL issues relating to performance and compliance at a minimum. Assists in managing all aspects of information technology (IT) system security as it applies to the Risk Management Framework. Conducts investigations in anomalies found during audit trail analysis. Assists with regular vulnerability scans, improvements, and patching of RHEL systems. Investigates and resolves RHEL problems. Uses skills, knowledge, and resources to diagnose, determine, and solve RHEL related problems. Stays current with RHEL developments. Helps prepare for IT hardware replacements and upgrades. Maintains and enforces Government computer and information security policies and procedures. Interfaces with the customer, other team members, and vendors as required. Provides support to our organizational Information Assurance team as required. Performs various administration duties as needed.
