Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the education industry, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The role involves meticulous management of accounts payable processes for a multitude of schools and corporate entities, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounts payable process for a large number of schools and corporate entities

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently

• Apply 2 and 3 way matching techniques to ensure correct invoice processing

• Enter and code invoices with precision to maintain a consistent record of transactions

• Execute check runs and ACHs as part of regular payment operations

• Handle intercompany transactions and payments, ensuring seamless financial operations between entities

• Perform light administrative duties as needed to support the overall accounts payable process

• Use NetSuite software to manage and analyze financial data

• Reconcile monthly invoices and handle any discrepancies in a timely manner

• Approve purchase orders and payable invoices, maintaining a clear and accurate record of all transactions. Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in using NetSuite and Netsuite CRM

• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite Technologies

• Advanced skills in Excel Formulas and Microsoft Excel

• Ability to code invoices accurately

• Experience in entering invoices and vendor invoices

• Demonstrated ability in invoice approvals and invoice coding

• Expertise in invoice payment and invoice reconciliation

• Experience in handling monthly invoices and outstanding invoices

• Ability to process payable invoices in a timely manner

• Familiarity with handling purchase orders in an educational trade environment
