Paramount Podcast Manager, Programming in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Overview & Responsibilities:

The Podcast Programming Manager is responsible for oversight and development of our network podcast strategy across audio, YouTube, linear, and social platforms. Primary responsibilities include working with podcast producers and the Podcast Coordinating Producer on show calendars, KPI reports, sales opportunities, distribution, and social strategies. Driving audience growth, engagement, and revenue opportunities across our audio, video, and social channels is key to success!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with show producers to develop weekly, monthly, seasonal and event-based programming plans for podcasts across our portfolio

  • Develop podcast programming lineup for CBS Sports Networks podcast block

  • Provide recurring feedback to podcast production teams on whats working/not working

  • Support third-party sales partnerships to drive revenue

  • Work with collaborators to create new revenue opportunities around programming

  • Develop and manage platform relationships to elevate programming

  • Develop social strategies to drive viewership, listenership and revenue opportunities

  • Provide recurring KPI reports to key collaborators

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience producing or programming high-performing audio, video and/or editorial content

  • Bachelors degree in a related field

  • Minimum 3-5 years working in media

  • In-depth sports knowledge, particularly sports that Paramount has broadcast rights to

  • Expert analytical experience with the ability to transform findings into actions

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with experience working with talent and production members

  • Ability to work with a collaborative production team and help guide and craft the editorial and distribution direction of multiple shows

  • Strong ability to keep open lines of communication on a team

  • Deliver clear, detailed feedback on programming and production performance

  • Ability to navigate a flexible work schedule that includes occasional nights and weekends

  • Video and audio production experience is a plus!
