Summary This position is located at Fort Leonard Wood- Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation: NAF Support Services. There will be bi-weekly cut-offs starting on 30 January 2025, list will be sent when management upon request, till the position is filled, or closes. * Responsibilities Under the lead of a full performance specialist, performs highly structured, entry-level work designed to develop broader and more in-depth knowledge and skills needed to perform higher-level assignments Assignments include, delivery of Information Technology customer support services, including system hardware/software installations, configurations, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and/or training. Communicates factual and procedural information clearly, orally and in writing. Gathers and analyzes basic facts and draws conclusions. Uses established industry practices, procedures or policies to determine the most appropriate approach to problem resolution. Applied information security/information assurance policy, principles and practices. Additional duties include but not limited to record management through SharePoint, Excel, and similar programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualification Requirements: Work experience, education, and/or specialized training sufficient to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Information Technology (IT) principles, concepts and methods as well as skill in applying basic IT principles and practices in: -Performing highly structured, entry level work designed to develop broader and more in-depth knowledge and skill needed to perform higher level assignments; -Communicating factual and procedural information clearly, orally and in writing, -Gathering and analyzing basic facts and drawing conclusions. -Data storage, software applications and networking. *You will be rated based solely off of the information provided within your resume, please ensure you are clear and specific. To meet Highly Preferred eligibility, you must meet all Minimum and Highly Preferred Qualifications, and this information must be clearly detailed on your resume. Education Bachelor's degree with a major study (minimum of twenty-four (24) semester hours) in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management OR Two (2) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management. Pay-Band (NF) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
