Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W0V2AA US ARMY SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND. Serves as a Cyberspace (Cyber) Operations subject matter expert for the 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne). Responsibilities Identify specific Cyber policy and training requirements necessary for maintaining operational readiness across the organization. Serve as a Cyberspace (Cyber) Operations subject matter expert to facilitate Cyber policy and Cyber training requirements. Prepare, resource, and conduct local modular Cyber training and assessments to optimize time and personnel available. Collaborate with cyber operations planners to identify, validate, and levy requirements for collection and analysis. Conduct strategic and operational effectiveness assessments as required for cyber events. Participate in targeting selection, validation, synchronization, and execution of cyber actions. Keep abreast of current Counterintelligence (CI) and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Cyber developments, policies, processes, reporting and analysis to identify and prioritize training requirements. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
