Systems Engineer Sr Advisor

We are currently seeking an Automation expert to join our team. In this role you will be a change agent by working on our contract with USSOCOM. This team provides modernization and life cycle support of Information Technology infrastructure that enhances capabilities of this unique customer. It also focuses on long term engineering services and the development of new functional enhancements that increase the capability of the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education :

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

Required Experience :

  • 8+ years of related experience

Required Technical Skills:

  • Networking 5-8 years enterprise-level network experience

  • CCNA/CCNP preferred

  • Experience with network design desirable

  • Virtualization (vSphere, Vmware, ESXi)

  • Containerization Platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Communication and Collaboration (Slack, Signal, Teams)

  • Cloud Computing and Storage (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)

  • Django(Web framework written in Python),

  • Jinja2 (templating language for Python),

  • YAML (data serialization language ),

  • JSON (Format for representing structured data)

DevOps tools

  • Version Control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Subversion)

  • Continuous Integration (GitLab, Jenkins)

  • Configuration Management (Ansible)

Security Clearance Level :

  • TS/SCI

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
