U.S. Army Forces Command PROGRAM ANALYST (AIR/MISSILE DEFENSE ORG INTEGRATOR) in Fort Liberty, North Carolina

Summary About the Position: You will serve as the Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Organization Integrator (OI), overseeing the organization Standard Requirements Code (SRC) 44/06, and providing overarching analysis regarding the command's preparedness and ability to successfully structure, integrate, and employ focused Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) capabilities. This position is located at Headquarters U.S. FORSCOM in Fort Liberty, North Carolina. Responsibilities Provides recommendations and alternatives for restructuring and resourcing of Fires and Air and Missile Defense units SRC 44/06 force structure in support of FORSCOM operational plans and contingencies. Oversees force structure, programming, resourcing, doctrine and design actions with HQ FORSCOM staff, DA Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Human Resources Command, US Army Force Management Support Agency, and the Combined Arms Command. Participates in the quantitative and qualitative TAA process ensuring the development of an executable SRC 44/06 force structure plan for each year of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM). Makes recommendations for solving doctrine disconnects and reviews changes for Table of Organization and Equipment (TOE) and Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE) documents Conducts force structure impact analysis by reviewing concepts/doctrine and ensuring compliance with force structure provisions such as affordability, supportability and sustainability. Provides input to senior leadership regarding emerging doctrine in both peacetime and wartime; and makes recommendations for personnel doctrine input. Assists other major commands and integrating centers in the design, modification and implementation of policy, force structure and/or personnel doctrinal changes. Monitors and evaluates Force Management System Web Site (FMSWeb) and Structure and Manpower Allocation System (SAMAS), and Global Force Management Information (GFIM) databases reflecting past, present and future force structure changes. Validates Timed Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) record requirements and force structure for supported theaters. Oversees Fires and Air and Missile Defense units to fill OPLAN requirements in accordance with FORSCOM authority in the Army Mobilization and Operations Planning and Execution System (AMOPES). Uses the Global Command and Control System (GCCS)and ARFORGEN Synchronization Tool (AST) in support of joint planning actions and communicates with counterparts at worldwide locations. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience providing overarching analysis regarding the command's preparedness and ability to successfully structure, integrate, and employ focused Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) capabilities; AND managing all aspects of unit availability, unit readiness, unit sourcing, identifying unit mission requirements, providing technical advice and making recommendations on operational and readiness matters affecting assigned units. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Organizational Awareness Planning and Evaluating Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
