Responsibilities Serves as the supervisor for the Logistics Enterprise Branch and is a senior functional specialist. Develops policy, procedures and plans for short- and long-range projects as they pertain to Army Special Operations programs, systems and support requirements. Directs, coordinates and oversees the fielding of automated logistics systems to USASOC organizations by ensuring branch personnel participate in functional system testing. Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience in 1) Performing materiel management functions to include stock-on-hand analysis to determine command readiness levels. 2) Providing oversight to determine the proper usage of command automated supply systems at subordinate organizations to achieve efficiencies and stated goals. 3) Representing the organization as a functional logistics subject matter expert in warehousing and supply chain management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-12. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Planning Leadership Maintenance Planning and Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Education Some position allows education as a substitution to expereince, this position is based off of experience aone. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. Two year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
