Systems Engineer Senior

SUMMARY : Systems Engineer Senior, Tactical Ground Station – Fort Liberty, NC - TS/SCI Clearance Required. Primarily supports software for tactical Intelligence Family of Systems: DCGS-A, GWS, IFS, P-MFWS, and CDSS.

How the Sr. Systems Engineer-TGS will make an impact:

  • Initialize, place into operation, and troubleshoot the software interfaces of specific C5ISR communication system being supported (ex. IFS /P-MFWS/GWS/CDSS).

  • Assist with software installation, configuration, patching and maintenance of DCGS-A family of systems.

  • Responsible for backup and disaster recovery of Linux and Windows operating systems.

  • Regularly perform software, hardware, and network troubleshooting and problem identification and resolution.

  • Assist with remote system administration software to include troubleshooting and installation.

  • Assists Information Assurance staff with all documentation required for accreditation and any other associated directives and regulations.

  • Participates in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Computer related field.

● Required Experience: AA/AS, 5+ years experience. (2 years of additional work experience may be substituted for an A.A./A.S. Degree)

● Required Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Windows Servers/RHEL Servers/VMWare Servers, Puppet, and Windows client software, patching, upgrading, and maintaining

● Security Clearance Level: Must have an active TS/SCI clearance and willing to obtain a CI Poly if required.

● Preferred Skills: Prior experience with TGS support (35T/353T0Understanding of networking principles and system network configuration.

The likely salary range for this position is $83,096 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
