Aerotek Water Transfer in Fort Lupton, Colorado

Job Posting: Water Transfer Operator

Location: Fort Lupton, CO

Salary: $20 - 22 per hour

Hours: 80 hours per week on a rotating schedule

Description:

Water transfer is a critical aspect of hydraulic fracturing (fracking), involving the sourcing, transporting, and managing of water needed to create the high-pressure fluid used to fracture rock formations and extract oil and natural gas. Water can be sourced from rivers, lakes, groundwater, or recycled from previous operations, and is transported via pipelines, tanker trucks, or stored in tanks. Compliance with regulatory and environmental standards is essential to prevent contamination and manage water use effectively. Companies strive for operational efficiency by employing advanced technologies and logistics, addressing challenges such as water scarcity and environmental concerns through solutions like water recycling and real-time monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment for water transfer operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.

  • Monitor flow rates and perform regular equipment checks.

  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Collaborate with team members to optimize water transfer processes.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in oil and gas operations is preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and Clean MVR

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
