Job Summary:

Compass Point is looking for an Operations Analyst II to work at Fort Meade, MD.

Compass Point Federal (Compass Point) is hiring an Operations Analyst III with experience and expertise in DoD and DISA contract requirements. This position supports the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Emerging Technology (EM) Directorate to support the operational team and their efforts to implement new technologies to meet the Agencies mission. Provide all services necessary to manage and oversee all aspects of the contract. Use key performance parameters to monitor work performance, measure results, and ensure delivery of contracted product deliverables and solutions support management and decision-making and facilitate communications. Identify risks, resolve problems, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions. Institute and maintain a process that ensures problems and action items discussed with the Government are tracked through resolution and shall provide timely status reporting. Results of contractor actions taken to improve performance shall be tracked, and lessons learned incorporated into applicable processes. Establish and maintain a documented set of disciplined, mature, and continuously improving processes for administering all contract and task order efforts with an emphasis on cost efficiency, schedule, performance, responsiveness, and consistently high-quality delivery

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Uses key performance parameters to monitor work performance, measure results, and ensure delivery of contracted product deliverables and solutions support management and decision making and facilitate communications.

  • Identifies risks, resolve problems, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.

  • Institutes and maintains a process that ensures problems and action items discussed with the Government are tracked through resolution and shall provide timely status reporting. Results of Contractor actions taken to improve performance shall be tracked, and lessons learned incorporated into applicable processes.

  • Establishes and maintains a documented set of disciplined, mature, and continuously improving processes for administering all task order efforts with an emphasis on cost-efficiency, schedule, performance, responsiveness, and consistently high-quality delivery.

  • Provides a Monthly Service Utilization, Capacity, Outage and Upgrade Status and Forecast Report and resources (i.e., personnel) required for closeout operations prior to contract/task order completion.

  • Sharepoint Online, Team and Jira standing up, configuring and maintaining sites.

  • Supports compiling deliverables to include Monthly, Quarterly, Contract Status Reports and Contract Management Property Reports.

  • Examines and assesses solutions to problems and drafts procedures for improving operations. Secures information by interviewing employees and/or customers, reading reports, analyzing operations, determining project scope and recommendations in reports.

  • Produces practical solutions by describing requirements, studying system or process capabilities, analyzing alternative solutions, and preparing system specifications, using statistical analysis, simulation, and optimization.

  • Conducts training for employees and/or customers to use new or revised systems. Works with analytical teams on highly complex problems and works with employee teams to assist with implementation of proposals.

  • Performs work under minimal supervision.

  • Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

  • Typically requires BA and 5-7 years.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience supporting contract requirements.

  • Experience interpreting and having clear understanding of contract requirements and deliverables.

  • Experience in key performance parameters to monitor work performance, measure results, and ensure delivery of contract deliverables.

  • Experience in identifying risks, resolve problems, and verify effectiveness of corrective action.

  • Experience verifying effectiveness of corrective actions.

  • Sharepoint Online, Team and Jira standing up, configuring and maintaining sites.
