ManTech Training Manager in Fort Meade, Maryland

Description & Requirements

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Training Manager to join our team in the Fort Meade, Maryland area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manages the TDL training program for a specifically assigned TDL

  • Review existing training programs and suggest enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention to meet the changing needs of the customer

  • Ensure that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective

  • Maintain knowledge of new methods and techniques for training and training requirements applicable to program and/or industry

  • Identify problems and opportunities that could improve training, such as operational changes or industry developments

  • Conduct or facilitate required and recommended training sessions as well as collaborate with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration for and participation in outside training programs

  • Ensure that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to an approved training budget that they prepare and implement

  • Supervise and mentor subordinate project staff

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Twelve or more (12+) years of position-specific relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) or Certified Online Learning Facilitator (COLF)

  • Experience tracking, coordinating or providing training programs in a military environment

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

The projected compensation range for this position is $148,800.00-$249,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
