Summary This position is located at the Support Services Division which is apart of Fort Moore Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR). Responsibilities Performs duties in the delivery of Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Management Information Systems (MIS) at a major command level. Responsible for integrating automated applications into all aspects of MWR operations. Works closely with program managers to assist in developing and implementing procedures and actions to support automated programs. Serves as liaison for MWR MIS applications among G-9 program managers/Division Chiefs/Director MWR/Garrison Information Services Officer. Applies advanced information technology (IT) principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices to plan and carry out difficult and complex assignments and develop new methods, approaches, and procedures. Identifies, coordinates and conducts MIS training (i.e. MWRA, contractor, IMCOM G9, SME, CST, etc.) allowing users at all levels to maintain proficiency and fully utilize applications. Minimum Qualifications: Must possess a comprehensive understanding of the Army's MWR mission, business, and accounting processes and be able to plan, organize, and direct work/project activities. Must possess excellent oral communication skills and have the ability to write concisely and accurately and prepare written briefings on assigned projects. Work experience must include technical knowledge of automated applications, security requirements, and the ability to prepare written briefings and conduct oral presentations. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and direct work/project activities. Highly Preferred Criteria: Preferred are candidates who have a wide range of management experience in more than one MWR functional area (i.e., recreation, business programs, contracting, procurement, accounting, financial management, automation, etc.). PCS Costs: Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are negotiable, based on a determination that a PCS is in the Government's interest. Expenses may not exceed the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials: This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
