Robert Half Applications Analyst in Fort Myers, Florida

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Business Analyst role based in Fort Myers, Florida. This role involves implementing and supporting business applications used by our organization. The Analyst will be responsible for investigating issues, solving problems, identifying needs, and implementing solutions. The role is well suited to a professional with a working knowledge of business processes, application functions, database structures, program logic, and end-user technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the architecture, function, and relationships of company applications and systems to the business model.

• Identifying opportunities to improve or advance the use of business application capabilities.

• Working with departments and management to develop solutions and correct inefficiencies.

• Performing application maintenance and support activities including resolving technical application issues.

• Responding to and resolving end-user support issues regarding enterprise applications.

• Identifying opportunities to improve application infrastructure.

• Participating in application implementation projects in various roles from plan development to deployment.

• Leveraging external vendor and consultant expertise effectively.

• Gathering requirements and developing specifications for new requests.

• Developing comprehensive solution and support documentation.

• Using the service desk system and change management processes to document and track work activities, and respond to day-to-day support issues.

• Supporting needs outside primary job role based on available skills and company needs.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently

• Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field

• Experience in project management

• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting

• Ability to understand and interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

• Willingness to continually learn about new technologies and update skills as necessary

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
