Job Title: CDL Driver

Job Description

Drivers will be operating a water truck to water the sod on site. They will be responsible for operating equipment in compliance with safety policies and procedures. Ensuring equipment and materials are maintained and stored in a safe manner. Responsible for checking filters and greasing equipment. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate water truck to water the sod on site.

• Comply with safety policies and procedures while operating equipment.

• Maintain and store equipment and materials safely.

• Check filters and grease equipment regularly.

• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Essential Skills

• 2-4 years of operating experience, preferably in roadway, DOT, or bridge construction.

• Experience in construction, heavy equipment operation, heavy civil construction, roadway construction, bridge construction, and earthworks.

• CDL A driver license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Heavy equipment operator certification.

• Experience in heavy civil construction.

Work Environment

100% outdoors - must be comfortable working in the heat at all times. Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM to 5 PM, working anywhere from 50-52 hours. May work some Saturdays depending on the need.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00
