Aerotek Maintenance Manager in Fort Myers, Florida

Working with a manufacturing and distribution company in the Fort Myers area that is seeking a qualified Maintenance Manager!

Pay is negotiable based on experience, access to full time benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.), access to production bonuses

Job Description:

• Promote safety as the most important value in all maintenance activities.

• Direct work assignments and set priorities for a 24x7 production operations.

• Ensure effective and proactive communication of maintenance activities including:

· Preventative Maintenance completion rate

· Work order closeout rate

· Downtime root causes and suggested improvements

· Continuous improvement of Preventative Maintenance plan

· Identified machine or procedural issues

· Maintenance team cross training matrix

• Manage implementation of preventative maintenance ensuring work is completely promptly, safely, correctly.

• Implement 6S culture in maintenance and support areas.

• Ensure that all required recordkeeping is completed timely and accurately.

• Provide direct “hands on” assistance to employees as needed.

• Contribute as member of the plant leadership team to drive the plant forward in areas of safety, quality, and productivity improvements.

• Develop maintenance team, identify areas to improve in team members, schedule training and classes to improve weaknesses, maintain team cross training matrix, utilize matrix to have proper support on all shifts.

• Establish individual performance expectations, conduct regular employee performance reviews, and effectively coach and provide feedback to employees.

• Conduct/schedule training for maintenance staff and operators on equipment as necessary.
