AON Senior Financial Analyst in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania
This Senior Financial Analyst role is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and successful team. This role will support Aon Affinity’s largest revenue-generating business, which has been a key driver to the success and growth of Affinity, as well as support other back-office functions. This position plays a critical role in supporting strategic planning, forecast and variance analysis to Affinity business leaders to assist with making better informed decisions, as well as owning end-to-end reporting and providing actionable business insights. Additionally, this position offers the opportunity to partner with various functional areas including but not limited to Controllership, Accounting Operations, Marketing and Business Operations.

What the day will look like
Prepare, analyze, and report on financial results focusing on key drivers behind the performance
Partner with the business leaders by providing actionable insights and trends and help formulate strategies to drive improved financial results
Access information maintained in various financial systems and databases to analyze, prepare and present business analysis to management
Drive monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasting process. Responsible for preparing the monthly forecast & the annual budget
Participate in monthly close process
Provide analysis to aid in achieving financial objectives, including - budgeting, forecasting, tracking variances, profitability, etc.
Drive the annual budgeting processes, including data collection and analysis
Assist with the annual incentive process
Help with Deal Modeling and “what if” analysis
Provide financial governance around Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) development and the ongoing tracking of actual project cost against the approved CBAs and benefits delivered
Adept at taking large amounts of data and condensing into presentation formats for executive meetings
Liaison between Controllership, Accounting operations and Business operations
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
4+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related field; experience in the insurance or professional services industry preferred, but not required.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel; experience with financial planning tools such as Workday, TM1 or similar systems a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively across functions & teams, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Organized and strong attention to detail.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $80,000 - $90,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, Illinois The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
