Community Health Systems Endoscopy RN in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Lutheran Downtown Hospital of Fort Wayne, Indiana is looking for Registered Nurses (RN) for our new hospital!

Full Time: 4 eight hour shifts a week

Start Times vary daily

30 Minute Call Response Time to start in January

MINIMAL ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Licensure: Current Indiana RN license or compact license

  • Experience: Preferred minimum of one year hospital experience

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing

  • Registration/Certification: Must obtain and maintain AED/Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 90 days of hire. ACLS optional

Located on the southwest corner of Main and Van Buren, Lutheran Downtown Hospital opened for patient care in November 2021 with 60 beds and room to expand. A modern hospital in the heart of the city, Lutheran Downtown Hospital offers a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, opening with a 19-room emergency department, four operating suites, three gastroenterology suites, diagnostic imaging services, robotic-assisted surgery capabilities and laboratory services.

The planned size of the facility reflects the growth in services being offered in outpatient settings as medical technologies advance. The facility is built with space to accommodate future growth to more than 100 beds, based on the community's needs.
