**Job Title: Graduate Operations Administrator (32015)

Join Purdue University Fort Wayne:We are currently seeking a full-time and onsite Graduate Operations Administrator in the Continuing Studies department. This position manages the graduate program operations through the implementation, administration, and collaboration of all graduate program topics. This position pays $50,000.

Primary Responsibilities:**

  • Work effectively with Office of International Education, Registrar, Bursar, Division of Continuing Studies, and staff/administrators at Purdue West Lafayette (PWL) to implement projects and process improvements.
  • Identify and implement mechanisms and strategies to address inefficiencies in current graduate program processes.
  • Troubleshooting the integration and software platforms that includes Slate, Banner, COGNOS, and iDataHub.
  • Communicate policies, procedures, and related information to applicants, students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
  • Organize and maintain electronic records of graduate student admissions, official transcripts, diplomas, and related correspondence.
  • Evaluate applications for completion, upload documents, and manage application flow from completion to admission
  • Create, monitor, and manage holds on incoming and existing graduate students.
  • Serve as a point of contact for the new Salesforce system.
  • Plan and coordinate new student orientations and on-campus events for graduate students
  • Train PFW faculty and staff on new programs.
  • Disseminate Agendas and Minutes from Graduate Studies Meetings.
  • Assist in the completion of forms related to graduate student work.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • 3 years of experience in project management and continuous improvement practices.
  • Able to independently take initiative to solve problems and improve efficiency.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and database management software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work efficiently with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree.
  • Familiarity with Banner, Slate, and COGNOS programs.
  • Experience in event planning, customer service, and training.
