In this role, you will:

  • Maintain compliance to all aspects of Safety Proactively maintain a safe working environment

  • Test, Troubleshoot, Disposition, and perform Root Cause Corrective Action on Classified & Unclassified deliverable and undeliverable units on an as required/as needed basis

  • Create, maintain and improve work instructions (e.g., test plans, OSOPs)

  • Review and approve engineering changes

  • Collaborate with other Process Owners to meet test process efficiency and compliance goals collectively

  • Comply with audits

  • Play an active role in assisting the team to meet quality objectives

  • Promote a culture of 100% quality

  • Maintain consistently high quality QD documents

  • Take part in quality investigations, including RCCA and 7-Steps, as determined by the QCE

  • Provide direct feedback to build and design processes

  • Define and troubleshoot tooling

  • Eliminate bottlenecks

  • Increase utilization of test equipment

  • Reduce inventory and maximize turnaround time

  • Take part in ongoing collaboration regarding best practices and strategies

  • Identify and communicate training needs and skills gaps in the teams, carrying out training and coaching as necessary

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • EE or EET bachelors degree (AS in EE/ET or Experience would be considered on a case-by-case basis)

  • 2 or more years of relevant work experience

  • RF experience a plus

  • Formal qualification to be related to field of work

  • Advanced level Oracle, Data Analysis Software and MSOffice user

  • Use of hand tools, meters, and o-scopes

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing essentials

  • Intermediate-level technical skills and knowledge of technical requirements and system flows skills relevant to job / area of work

  • 2 years plus of RF experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $61830 - $105120

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
