Job Summary

ASG is seeking a Project Manager to identify and furnish estimates associated with public bid and design build opportunities from planning stage to completion and client acceptance. Systems include: Structured Cabling, Public Address Intercom, Classroom Audio Visual, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Video Surveillance, Fire Alarm and Clock Systems. Design processes includes researching equipment, technology, coordination with vendors, owners, generation of bid documents and or scope of work documents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and support technology projects from planning stages to completion.

  • Configure, and deliver technology projects as contracted.

  • Ability to generate takeoff and estimate from bid drawings and specifications

  • Experience in design from phase one schematic to final price proposal presentations

  • Observe BICSI standards and industry best practices in design and product utilization

  • Provide recommendations to management regarding solutions to potential project risks and issues as related to project requirements

  • Proactively involved with project manager’s schedules and deadlines to ensure they are realistic and attainable.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of project management or experience in a related technical field

  • Strong understanding and interest in modern technologies

  • Must have excellent people and communication skills

  • Self-motivated with a willingness to secure new clients

  • Organizational skills

  • Willingness to travel

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio and other Office products
