Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor directs and coordinates activities of maintenance technicians and leads. This role involves managing materials, machines, and the entire maintenance area, ensuring all preventative and reactive maintenance for facility and operational assets is completed. The candidate will assist the manager with directing, managing, coaching, and mentoring personnel as needed. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include night shifts, overtime, and weekends to support a 24/7 manufacturing plant. The candidate must maintain a personal inventory of tools necessary to perform the requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate activities of maintenance technicians and leads.

  • Manage materials, machines, and the entire maintenance area.

  • Ensure completion of all preventative and reactive maintenance for facility and operational assets.

  • Assist the manager with directing, managing, coaching, and mentoring personnel.

  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, and process fluid transmission systems.

  • Repair and calibrate process monitoring and equipment including gauges, meters, transducers, and transmitters.

  • Lead others in a team-based environment.

  • Perform basic electrical tasks such as motor replacement, sensor replacement, and fuse replacement.

  • Utilize computer skills including HMI Interface and setup, email, and data logging.

  • Understand machinery timing including stroke, timing, position, dwell, and cams.

  • Comply with food GMP standards.

  • Read, understand, and follow machine manuals, mechanical drawings, SOPs, and PIDs.

  • Maintain detailed documentation including work orders and parts inventory removal.

Essential Skills

  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, and process fluid transmission systems.

  • Basic electrical skills including motor and sensor replacement, and understanding of PLCs and sensor functions.

  • Computer literacy including HMI Interface and setup, email, and data logging.

  • Ability to comply with food GMP standards.

  • Ability to read and understand machine manuals, mechanical drawings, SOPs, and PIDs.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to comply with necessary documentation.

  • 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • High sense of drive, initiative, sense of urgency, and pride to support a high-volume, high-speed manufacturing plant.

  • Specific vision abilities required include distance vision, close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

  • Physical ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

  • Physical ability to frequently stand, talk, hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

  • Occasionally required to sit, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

Work Environment

Work in a distribution and manufacturing facility around 400,000 sq. ft. in a high-speed bottling environment. The facility manufactures energy drinks and kids' nutrition drinks. Must be able to comply with food GMP standards and work in a physically demanding environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.
