WestRock Company Maintenance Technician in Fort Worth, Texas

As a Maintenance Mechanic you will (among other things):

  • Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participate in our safety program

  • Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently

  • Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery

  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems

  • Willingness to fully cross-train in other technical areas of maintenance

  • Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently

  • Will work with steam and boiler controls and mechanical power drives

  • Timely and accurate paperwork

What you need to succeed:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to work overtime

  • Ability to effectively communicate and work on a team

  • Basic mathematical skills and basic technology/computer skills

  • Three years' experience in Industrial Maintenance

  • Must have a mechanical and preferred electrical background

  • Must be able to perform heavy lifting, twist, bend, squat and kneel repetitively for this position.

  • Candidates will undergo comprehensive testing and interviews. All offers of employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and a background check.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years' experience in Industrial Maintenance

  • Corrugated/Box maintenance experience a plus

  • Professional license(s)
